Coon Dog Day

This was our eighth year performing at Coon Dog Day and this was by far the best year. Everything was perfect including the weather which, in July, is probably the largest contributor to the favorability of any given year. Coon Dog Day is always a fun festival but July in the South has the potential to very hot and humid. This definitely wasn't the case this year. The temperatures during the warmest part of the day were in the 80's with the humidity being very low throughout the entire day. After the Sun went down the temperatures dropped to the point where it started feeling more like late September. It was very nice and made this year's festival absolutely wonderful.

The Folsom Prison Gang provides and manages the sound system for the festival and are there for the entire festival. We always look forward to making new friends and catching up with old ones as some of the bands, like us, return each year to contribute their bit to the wonder of this festival. When you have something that works, why change it?

We would like to say thank you to everyone who saw us at this year's festival. We also need to thank the Town of Saluda for allowing us to be a part of Coon Dog Day for so long. It is truly am honor for us that we thoroughly enjoy and look forward to each year.
