Ring of Fire Festival

It was a beautiful day in North Carolina wine country today, even the drive up to the McRitchie Winery was an enjoyable experience. I don't know how long it has been since I drove through the tobacco fields, farms and numerous vineyards along the way; but getting to the McRitchie Winery & Ciderworks location was just the start of what was ramping up to be a day of fun, food, wine and great music at the Ring of Fire Festival.

The day was mostly overcast which is always welcomed anywhere in the south especially in the summer months. If there's one thing you can count on in this region it's that the weather will be hot and humid with a chance of rain June-August and today was no exception. The humidity was high but we had some nice cloud coverage and even a cool breeze now and then.

We delivered three sets of Cash hits which of course included, "Ring of Fire". There was a great crowd and you can't beat the atmosphere. If you are ever in the area, stop by for a wine tasting, the selection of whites, blush, reds and cider doesn't disappoint. Thanks to the McRitchie's for inviting us to perform at their Ring of Fire Festival this year. We had a great time and we love the wines, especially the rich tones of the festivals namesake, Ring of Fire! Cheers!
