Daddy Sang Bass

Year Released:  1968
Country Charts:  1
Billboard Charts:  42
A great upbeat song written by the Rockabilly legend Carl Perkins and recorded by Johnny Cash. The song borrows part of the chorus from the traditional song "Will the Circle Be Unbroken". We perform this song as more of a medley between the two songs borrowing a little more from "Will the Circle Be Unbroken".

Daddy Sang Bass stayed on the Country charts for 19 weeks with 6 of those being at number one.
