Another favorite of The Folsom Prison Gang, this classic train song was originally released in the early 1900's and is based on a true story. Old 97 was a Southern Railway train that ran from Washington D.C. to Atlanta, Georgia. On September 27th, 1902, the train derailed at Stillhouse Trestle near Danville, Virginia inspiring this song which Johnny Cash released in 1957. The Folsom Prison Gang also released a copy of this song in 2011.
