The Silvertone 1300 amplifier was one of the very first electric guitar amplifiers that were available in the USA. If you wanted one "back in the day", you would order it through the Sears catalog from 1947 to 1950.

Recently, on August 8th, Cowboy Jack Clement passed away at the age of 82. Jack Clement was one of those larger than life types of people who did everything, worked with everyone, and inspired countless individuals through his life's work.

The other day I stumbled upon this video on YouTube titled "Folsom Prison Gangstaz". It appeared in a search and, for obvious reasons; the title caught my eye and warranted further examination.
